About Us

H2-DEIA's Vision

Launched in 2023 through a partnership between the International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE) and the Hydrogen Council, H2-DEIA’s vision is to create a hydrogen and fuel cell economy that reflects the diversity of our global society and ensures equal opportunities for all.

Equipping the Future Hydrogen Workforce

H2-DEIA aims to equip the future hydrogen workforce with the skills, experience and access needed to become experts and leaders in the field.

Bringing together global governments, industry, academia, non-profits, and research institutes, as well as investors and the broader stakeholder community, H2-DEIA is helping shape a skilled and diverse workforce essential to the nascent clean hydrogen industry.

Assessing Evolving Workforce Needs

Recognizing the importance of assessing workforce needs, including skills and training unique to the field of hydrogen, and enabling fair access and opportunities for under-represented groups, H2-DEIA supports various initiatives, including activities to identify skill gaps and address challenges, and to strengthen recruitment, retention, and advancement of a highly qualified and diverse workforce.

Our Initiatives

Together, we believe we can build a hydrogen economy that provides equal opportunities for all to thrive.
